TIMKEN Bearing A-5240-WM R6, Cylindrical Roller Radial Bearings - 5200, A5200 Metric Series. Since the rollers of the cylindrical roller bearings make line contact with the raceways, these bearings can support heavy radial loads and are suitable for high speed operation.

Assembly and disassembly are comparatively easy even if the inner or outer ring requires a shrink fit, as the bearing is a separation type.

TIMKEN Bearing A-5240-WM R6, Cylindrical Roller Radial Bearings - 5200, A5200 Metric Series, Cylindrical roller bearings are classified as single row, double row and four row type, according to how many rollers are used, and there are models as shown in Table 1 to 3.Although designed as a thin wall type, the SL Model double row cylindrical roller bearing can support enormous radial and impact loads. Table 4 lists the configurations available.

Disclosed is a cylindrical roller bearing for absorbing axial and radial forces. The roller bearing includes a first bearing ring and a second bearing ring, which are arranged concentrically about an axis of rotation extending in an axial direction. The second bearing ring has a groove, which is open in a radial direction and in which a projection of the first bearing ring engages. The roller bearing further includes a first radial bearing row and two axial bearing rows spaced in the axial direction that are arranged between the projection and the groove, wherein the first radial bearing row supports the first bearing ring against the second bearing ring in a first radial direction. The roller bearing also includes a second radial bearing row that supports the first bearing ring against the second bearing ring in a second radial direction that is opposite to the first radial direction. The first bearing ring is divided in the axial direction into at least one first ring part having the projection and one second ring part, wherein the second radial bearing row is arranged between the second ring part and the second bearing ring at an axial distance from the projection.
